About
Ramsey, Krug, Farrell & Lensing
The
roots of Ramsey, Krug, Farrell, & Lensing go back to
1932 when Herschel Lewis and Raymond Norwood founded
the agency. The Lewis and Norwood Company operated as
a wholesaler to other agents for 47 years. In 1972 a
retail division was formed, known as Ramsey, Olberts,
Krug and Farrell. In 1980 Lewis and Norwood was sold
to CIGNA Insurance Company and the retail company became
Ramsey, Krug, Farrell, & Lensing.
At
that time there were seven employees. Today, RKF&L has
almost 100 employees and is one of the largest agencies in Arkansas.
The principal owners are active in the business and
committed to remaining so for years ahead. Our goal
is to perpetuate the agency from within. Six additional
stockholders have been added with the prospect of more
in the future.
We
believe it is in the best interests of our clients to
have owners active in virtually every phase of the operation
in order to assure professional service and commitment
to clients.
Our
Values
In
1985 the entire staff formulated our agency values.
It is reproduced here to give you a sense of the personal

Continuing
Education
There
is probably no better measure of professionalism than
the degree to which one commits to education and the
levels achieved.
In this rapidly changing world, the
demand for continuing education in insurance is paramount.
RKF&L fosters education of its employees by providing
the means for anyone to advance his or her technical
and human relations skills. Almost all of our technical
and sales staff have earned professional designations
in their areas of expertise and continue their education
through in-house and industry courses.
