History

Founded in 1980 with only seven employees, RKFL has grown to become one of the largest insurance agencies in the South. Today, the agency employs over 130 insurance specialists.
 
In 1991, RKFL acquired Risk Management Resources (RMR), a property/casualty TPA that provides claim management, loss control, underwriting and alternative funding analysis for clients and prospects.
 

In 2003, RKFL joined the family of BancorpSouth Insurance Services, a subsidiary of BancorpSouth, one of the South’s fastest growing financial institutions. BancorpSouth Insurance is the alliance of Louisiana’s oldest and strongest insurance agency, Wright & Percy; Mississippi’s prestigious, Stewart Sneed Hewes; and most recently, the esteemed SMI Group in Missouri and JMG/IC Insurance Agency, Inc. in Texas. Collectively, BancorpSouth Insurance has 23 offices in 8 states.

In 2007, RKFL/BancorpSouth acquired Insurance Network, one of the largest agencies in Northeast Arkansas employing 20 of the industry’s top professionals. Insurance Network brought to RKFL the additional expertise of aviation to its already extensive line of capabilities.

Insurance Network of Jonesboro was acquired in 2007 as part of the Arkansas operation.  Insurance Network has specialized in coverage for Medical Professionals, Construction and Manufacturers for over 38 years.
